What's gone is gone, we have to live in the here and now and right now we are unbeaten, haven't conceded a goal and look bloody good. Maybe, just maybe the juggernaut is starting to roll
What an unbelievable start to the season. Wasn't able to watch it today but looking forward to watching full game at some point. Frantically searching the prem games to make sure no left back was injured.
@Prehab26 you did describe Hume as “****ing ****e” after Sunderland’s best ever start to a season, so whilst I understand the broader point you were trying to make it’s not a surprise it’s been picked up on.
Can't wait to see what we look like mid season after a few months of regis, the change upto now is unbelievable. Add the couple players we're ment to be looking at and we could be looking very tasty.
Roberts just took the piss today, Burnley couldn't cope with him. He also put in a hell of shift up and down. Teams won't be looking forward to playing us that's for sure
The trouble is, as supporters, we've absolutely no idea why any player's form drops. It could be personal, confidence or just hate the manager and what they're asking them to do. Roberts has skill, passion and experience ... ... which he kept hidden for a while
We look like we mean business. No doubt we'll get some airtime from the big stations because that's what happens when you're on top, but I'm pleased with what I've seen so far. They were saying on Total Newcastle before the game that when the boss was getting interviewed this week he was asked how he was settling in in the North East and what has he made of the people up here, his answer was pretty much "I haven't had time to notice, I've been too busy working", I f**kin love that and it's clear that every player to a man knows his job. Only 3 games in, but long may it continue.
Tbf he's been ****e for ages, really glad he's on form just wish he could sort his shooting out to at least make the keeper work
In fairness to him (and I rarely agree with him), he did say that Cirkin makes Hume look ****. There's a bit of nuance there.
