Not at all, we looked open in transition today in the early part of the game, Saville had a good chance but took it with his wrong foot. It was two poor teams. It's just sad that after 18 months of building, we're back to this point. The gaffer isn't right, I think that's plainly obvious, there's just hope at present with the window still being open. I'd like us to bin off trying to play some innovative style and be a tad more realistic. Have the option and ability to go direct and play a bit of football at the right times in the right areas. I'm just bored with the football we've been playing for a while now (both gaffers), and the decisions at boardroom level have been poor/haphazard and they don't have a clue when it comes to footballing decisions.
No rush I’m still happy about the short sighted bloke sharing a taxi with me this morning at about 3.30am giving me a fiver that turned out to be a £20
In fairness everyone slagged off McCann and Arevaladze. What a pointless appointment. Rosenior was sacked way too soon. It's unfair to slag off Walter already he definitely needs to improve our creativity though. I hope he demands a #10 this week to hopefully improve that limitation
Early days but nowhere near what’s expected yet. Atmosphere reflecting what’s on offer.. See you at Leeds.. Allam’s GONE.
Are you saying you was happy with Arevaladze? He looked lost on that touchline. Like a guy down the pub given a chance to coach his favourite team. Myself included in that. We all have opinions but, the truth is we'd be awful.
Going how we finished last season. Yes it was probably a fair expectation. Bristol City, Plymouth amd Millwall. Realistic to expect 6, 7 or 9 points.
No. I wasn’t saying that. I just meant some of us are a bit more realistic and remember the dross we used to watch so the idea of moaning about anything we have now, at the game at least, seems daft
For me, all I've seen is Peter Taylor, Phil Brown, Steve Bruce etc. I mainly remember that first season at KC. I was 10. I guess with that I've been lucky to miss the dross managers of the 90s and 80s etc.
We finished last season in 7th . We then sacked the Manager because it wasn’t deemed good enough. 6th should be the very least of expectations.
Not with late transfers I was expecting this kind of start. But I am pretty sure Acun was expecting playoff chasing team, which is unlikely if you keep losing points to teams like Milwall and Plymouth. And I know our blood lad, Turks speak so much about their confidence and patience, but we are Number 1 in Europe in firing managers for like 20 seasons in a row in any serious league in Europe. I genuinely worry about that. When Turkey reached 12th manager fired last season in top league in November, closest was Portugal with 6.
Now that the 'negative police' are on my case, I've got to be careful what I write to avoid a blasting from above, but that was worse than dire.... The positives are that the pitch looked nice, and we're still unbeaten....
If we had the talent of the end of last season at our disposal now then even Arveladze would be getting 6-9 points from these games. But we ain't got that talent.
