When they invaded Afghanistan and lost 15,000 troops and the PUBLIC GOT TO KNOW THEY SOON CAPITULATED .. the danger to Putrid could now be the "real domesticated lived there for years Russians will be aware of how many troops may have been killed in this incursion ... they wasted no time in evacuating them and from other villages! The anti Kremlin element of this "invasion" is multi hundreds ...and there is at least 3 anti Kremlin groups with 1000+ plus ... weapons ... well Wagner DID HAVE A LOT! and after the failed coup some of their number abandoned Wagner but took stuff with them ... and they have grown from there!
rumour was / is over 1000 glide bombs were destroyed ... drones or guerilla's or both? A rather long front has to defend now and if info is correct 1000 casualties per day is not going to go un noticed

I just hope that the Russian people may finally get the message about the tens of thousands of their young men dying for a cause that is warped beyond belief. Surely all the mothers that know for sure that their sons are already dead have to find a way for the country to hear their voices but I'm not quite sure how without falling afoul of Putin's hammer. Whether or not he knows it but Ukraine can run rings around Putin in a strength of intelligence and intellect but like all of the other monsters throughout history they can never accept the truth, no matter what, and unfortunately that is where the answer lies.

Russia states they have will use a "thermobaric" bomb! these are basically unhuman as they kill everything animals / non military / everything in the explosion zone............ North Korean missiles used last night so mo excuse for North Korea being involved in [ along with Iran] SUPPORTING RUSSIA'S CRIMINAL INVASION of UKR

Is Putin allowing the Ukrainians to push on deeper into Russia ?
The Ukrainians need to be careful not to overstretch themselves, they might end up walking into a trap.

ukraine [UKR] PROMISED A FEW SURPRISES a few months ago and certainly being true to their word latest is the ferry with 30 wagons of fuel on board and still in the harbour!
thats something like 3,000,000 litres of fuel
Also destroyed 24 of 74 storage tanks on another site
3 bridges and a whole load of pontoon ones in transit or in situ
various other important targets within Russia! ...
Also sad to say lots of Russian troops, used as canon fodder, who are daily being forced to attack positions and should they "retreat" get shot by Chechen troops put there to stop them. When UKR is fully a member of the ICC ANY PRISONERS OF WAR who have committed atrocities can be handed over. Because the international community does not recognise the annexed areas of UKR as being Russian ..then any one there can be arrested!

On a slight side note I have been following closely the run up to the U.S. elections as we all know they will pull all support for Ukraine if Chump is elected and probably pull out of NATO. On the other side of the coin Kamala Harris will support both Ukraine and NATO up to the hilt and unlike Trump she sees the future for the world as being in grave danger from Putin and his allies. She gave a very powerful speech last night in Chicago and I think the tide is turning in her favour to get elected but the time is short for the Democrats to win over some of the MAGA voters to believe Trump poses a serious risk to democracy and world order. The biggest problem is getting through to the dyed in the wool Republicans who still believe that Trump is a god and wants nothing but the best for Americans whereas in fact he is only interested in gaining complete control of the country, rather like his mates Putin and the North Korean idiot. Harris will have problems winning the presidency as she has an uphill battle against the force that is Trump and my only fear is that the country won't listen to reason mainly because they don't really like Joe Biden. The world would become a much more dangerous place with Trump back in the White House because he is borderline insane.

Since the Democrats ‘won’ the last election Harris has been constantly laughed at by the worlds media, and especially the US media, for her lack of action and visibility as the so called Border Tsar

But now, because the US media and population have finally woken up and accepted that Biden is not mentally fit to hold office, and hasn’t been for several years, Harris is suddenly the flavour of the month.
But now they have no choice and they can’t even get rid of her
She ticks all of the boxes in woke America. She’s a woman, and identifies as black. So irreplaceable despite her many shortcomings
    and she has little experience
Without an autocue she hasn’t got a clue, and Trump will run rings around her in any debate
The Democrats with Harris are the perfect example of the bad joke of diversity, equity and inclusion rather than the best person for the job
It’s sickening how they’ve started fawning over her now as have the BBC here
The question is, who has been running the US for the few years because it’s certainly not been Biden

Rumours have it that it’s been Obama
Trump is a very flawed human being in many respects but I’d rather see him back in the hot seat than the two faced Drmocrsts
One final observation, why didn’t Biden speak to the US people or the world in person on TV when he was moved aside ?
They clearly knew Trump was miles ahead of Biden so desperation set in and they almost ran out of time

You're entitled to your opinion Angelic much the same as me living so close to the action and knowing the serious affects Trump would have on Canada.

I know very little about US politics, but I just think Trump is completely bonkers. He just seems to make things up.

Also on foreign policy I worry he’ll pull support for Ukraine, and pull out of NATO , which imo is dangerous for world peace.

I'm not a Trump man but I think Kamala Harris is a Starmer with a skirt on, has not got a clue and just as thick, I'm skizo but it's up to the Yanks.

Trust me she is certainly not thick in the slightest and unless you know her full background it's impossible to make a good assessment of her. All of her career in law and politics she has proved herself more than capable of dealing with the big powerful people who run the U.S. and winning huge payments from such entities a big-pharma when she proved they were ripping the consumers out of their hard earned money. Also when there a collapse of the mortgage industry she got a later bail-out package from the big banks that well exceeded their first offer of recompense. All in all I believe she offers relieve from Trumpism and don't under estimate her based on her gender or race because she will out-perform many of her predecessors. She is the sane choice for the U.S. but unfortunately a lot of them don't understand the truth when it hits them between the eyes.

From what I know from my friends in the States and from the media, the average American working class person is most concerned with immigration into the USA, which is just as it is here, but on hugely different scale
Harris was supposed to be the Borders Tsar and has totally failed to do the job.
Trump wanted to build the wall to keep the invasion to a bare minimum, but under Biden and Harris the southern US border has been left virtually wide open, allowing some say up to 15,000,000 trespassers into the US in the last 4 years
Just like here, the illegals entering America get preferential treatment over the rest of the population, which rightly upsets most normal people

Countries in Central and South America have opened jails and have encouraged violent criminals and murderers to trek north and cross the border to be rid of them

Just like over here, these people entering the country are undocumented and authorities have no idea whether they have criminal records, yet they are largely all accepted with minimal checks

It’s all a mess, yet when a small a consignment of immigrants were sent to somewhere posh in America (Hyannis I think) the local council starting immediately crying and complaining that they couldn’t cope. Basically because the rich and famous Democrat voters who live there simply didn’t want them.
It would be the same here if a load of illegals were sent to the affluent Labour voter territory of North London

The previously hand wringing liberals take on a very different persona when it threatens THEIR own way of life and comfort

The rich and famous love to tell people how sorry they are for immigrants, how we should be more welcoming, but then say what a load of far right bigots anyone is who speaks out against it, but they are simply hypocrites, because as soon as they are faced with having to live in the same neighbourhood, they don’t want to know, and I can’t even say I blame them, but they should at least be honest and they’re not.

The Democrats and Labour are exactly the same. Pro illegal immigration but not on their own doorstep.

They are both driven by ideologies rather than facts and the truth

THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE is the political system .. Kamikaze with a skirt does not fit! Although the President is portrayed as the "alpha" animal there is a awful lot of differences in the structure of the system. Unless living and partaking there very hard to understand. when you look at the past presidents and where they come from it is quite mindboggling especially film stars !!!

It seems there is a growing resistance movement within the occupied regions and especially Crimea as well as inside Russia, also a growing anti Putrid resistance movement operating off the back of the UKR one [ not part of but loosely attached and learning their trade! of Russian citizens.....
this is an aside of the military groups of Russian s who are anti Putrid and causing some useful destructions![ 3 known groups ]
Well over 300 missiles and drones fired into UKR and a "MYSTERY ONE" has flown into Poland ... heaven forbid this is a Russian incursion to plant a sabotage team or??? .............. under NATO rules that would be a real NO NO NO and ramp up the tension.... may even give permission for longer range usage of weaponery!

The ante will be ramped up if the West decides to approve the use of further weaponry by Ukraine with the inclusion of allowing the products to be used deep within Russia's borders. The problem with people like Putin is that you never know whether they are full of bluster or if they will respond with something on an unimaginable scale and until such time as a U.S. missile hits Russian territory. On the other side of the coin if you allow aggression to continue unabated then Putin will continue down the road back to the U.S.S.R and the world will be back on edge. Currently we are only a gnat's cock away from WW3 and if we learnt anything from the Hitler era we must block Putin from further advances into Europe because I can't ever see him showing weakness by backing off from his plans to reunify the old Soviet stomping on peoples rights. Trump is a spanner in any works but his views on NATO and the support of Ukrainian sovereignty are well known and essentially he will pull all support for their future and would almost certainly sit by and watch Putin take over all of Ukraine. Trump wants the the United States to become an autocracy under his jack-boot and then become another Russia, China or North Korea where human rights do not exist, and never will if I read the signs correctly. We are even closer to those dangerous crossroads and the decisions made could decide what kind of world we leave for our future generations. Right now that outlook looks very bleak indeed.

UKR has been building a small number of its own missiles with the range .......... but that might mean no permission to fly better/ more powerful ones.
The weapon which is being developed at the moment is the Dragon, it spits fire! uses thermite... not difficult to make but to ignite it is hard/er ingriedients are readily obtained and pretty cheap. An egg cupfull melted through a 28mm peice of boiler plate in just a handful of seconds!
Imagine being a enemy soldier and suddenly a drone starts dropping white hot fire onto/ into your vehicle / in your hiding place or trench or even on you ALMOST impossible to put out!
Although the resistance is making some successes I think the winter will be their time, and when you see the oil refineries and storage depots burning is that them close up with a couple of drones as a flock of the ones from UKR descend on the area! to draw their [ Russian ] fire!
When will there be the next meaningful attack on Crimea / airbases/ storage /docks and THE BRIDGE!
Mariupol is rumoured to be a rather large storage weapons ammo area! that must be a target at some point?

HEZBOLLAH .. THE icom V-82 was officially stopped from manufacture before 2011/2012 one of the reasons given on a HAM site was that it being the subject of Chinese copies .......

" Watch out for fake v82's! Only buy from authorized retailers or someone who did.
    I've had a lot of HT's but this one is special.Sad that's it's been discontinued. Quite obviously it's a casualty of cheap chi-com Ht's.""

these had a line of sight to a repeater of around 15 miles probably a liitle less if from person to person and work on vhf cost in 2010 was £189,99.

up date on UKR resistance and anti Kremlin Russian resistance groups ....

On the night of September 27, Colonel Alexei Kolomeitsev of the Russian Armed Forces was killed in Moscow region. He trained drone operators and managed a specialized center, according to RBC-Ukraine's source.
According to sources in Ukrainian military intelligence, the elimination of Kolomeitsev was the result of a special operation by a local resistance movement against the Kremlin regime, coordinated with the Main Intelligence Directorate (DIU) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Kolomeytsev was involved in the training of Russian specialists in the use of UAVs, particularly operators and support staff for Shahed-type kamikaze drones.
"The resistance movement is expanding, increasing its activities across Russia and beyond, as we had warned earlier. Every Russian war criminal and every individual involved in the aggression against Ukraine is our target, regardless of rank, age, gender, or location. We will eliminate everyone who has Ukrainian blood on their hands until the Russian regime ends the war and answers for all its crimes," a source told the agency.

Elimination of Russian officers and generals in Ukraine
In January, it was reported that Russian General Igor Trifonov was killed in the war in Ukraine. He previously headed the police in Yekaterinburg.
December 2023, it was reported that Major General Vladimir Zavadsky, deputy commander of Russia's 14th Army Corps, was eliminated in Ukraine.
In July 2023, Ukraine’s GUR confirmed the elimination of submarine commander Stanislav Rzhitsky, who was involved in missile strikes on Ukraine, in the Russian city of Krasnodar.
