i did but it was one nice flick out of 10 that have gone astray.

Gnonto and Aaronsson are very fluid up front, Gnonto is coming off the wing a lot.
joseph is giving the CB a game with his movement up front.
I think.this is the best I've seen us going forward for a while

 

Always preferred Aaronson at 10 than Rutter anyway

 

Farke has his tactics spot on.

James is hugging the touchline, stretching the game. That's giving Aaronson, Gnonto the room to operate more central with Firpo giving us the width on the left touchline. Then we have Joseph spinning in behind AND coming short allowing the others to run in behind.

It's working really well.

At the back, we are coping OK but we are allowing too many crosses. Meslier does not inspire confidence in his defence (or me tbh).

Much better from us but so it should be they are awful. They have 1 good player on their left Musaba keep him quiet game is won. We passing patient and neat one twos in which the goal has helped just need to be more precise in the last ball. Aaronson ran his balls off that half on and off the ball and some nice links up with James. All in all happy with that half dispite the Wendies being twatful.

 

We don’t ever seem to be able to utilise the pace of James, maybe it’s just teams sitting back. Would love Joseph to grab a goal to give him a boost.

Good first half, refs been okay, I’m sure Gnonto only got booked as the refs are starting to hate his whining

 

The worry is that the board might think this too and we don't get anyone else.

 

I've noticed that there's not as much holding on to the ball too long up.front. I know that Cre and Rutter were guilty of it but we're picking out more through balls and we're testing this defence. They're far from comfortable.

I'm not picking on Dan James, he's played well but I've noticed how much more composed Aaronsson and Gnonto seem to be in the danger zone.
Joseph is exactly what this team needs up top. He's going to be good for us.

I love the way the defence are working their forwards. They've been trying to press but haven't had any joy, they're chasing shadows then we're breaking fast. Where was this in the first 2 games.
