The only argument against it is that we were 3rd in the goal scoring charts last season but conceded many more than the previous season. So most solidity at the back to turn some of those draws / losses to wins would see us back in the top 4. I too think we need a RW but can see based on numbers why the club is prioritising defensive reenforcements
I genuinely don't think we will sign anyone, they'll say the price for Guehi was too high (agreed) and we didn't have enough time left/didn't want to panic buy
