I think if you dig deep enough and hard enough you may well find that the root cause of all of this and why we find ourselves where we are today is probably more down to Fat Mike and Penfold. 14 years of very little in the way of commercial revenue and growth will kinda do that to a club !
Can't blame Ashley for missing out on some great players for lower prices than we have attempted to spend on Guehi
Ha ha, yeah....that's sort of what Chelsea are doing now which makes for hilarious reading. Sterling surplus to requirements on £300k a week with 3 years left on his contract. Probably replaced by Felix who they've resigned for £60m on a 75 year contract on £300k a week. Not quite sure what they see in him now after they paid £20m to loan him 2 years ago when he was **** and then went to Barca and was **** there.
Lad at work is a Chelsea fan and he said their fans think exactly that, sweeping up the market ahead of an impending transfer embargo, even if they have to loan players back out for now as they have so many on the books. Also part of the reason gor all the long contravts. Can't be financially sustainable though, crazy way to run a business.
it won't matter as they have got everyone in already on stupid long contracts edit: read the next reply before replying myself edit edit : it's only Obi so who cares
I’m not having a dig my good friend. I am putting together potential reasons why this window has been poor. Maybe Howe only wanted established PL players. Maybe the scouting team isn’t up to scratch. Maybe the money isn’t there. Maybe the Ashworth saga contributed. Some or even all of these may have done. So please do accept that everyone is entitled to their opinion. Including yourself. I am interested to know why you think this far the window has been poor. You may in fact feel it isn’t poor?
I would lol if he did. I quite honestly don’t think he would give a cack what I believe. Like a lot of others. But I will still say what I believe.
I agree. But for those who simply can't be arsed to dig deep enough and hard enough, may I suggest voting for the Netflix Bandit.
