Each to their own mate. I hired a Tesla to see what they about and whilst I’ll admit the acceleration was wild (I drove a 440i so I know quick), I hated the lack of noise. I say the lack of noise but the rattling from the horrific build quality was noise… Just not for me. I think they are ugly, and it just doesn’t make sense to me. Hydrogen is the way.
I've got Audi Q4 etron and it's like **** off a stick and perfectly silent when driving. Costs me 2p a mile too
One of the blokes on Monday to Thursday nightshift comes to work in his milk float. Parks it way over the site at a charging point then walks the ten minutes to our section. Then, on his morning break, walks ten minutes back to pick it up. Every fooking night I'll stick to spending a couple of minutes filling up with fuel every few weeks And as for greener lol. Don't get me started these coonts telling us we need to buy electric shìt are the same wànkers who told us all to get diesel vehicles as it was cleaner and now it's the devil's juice
Good looking cars some of them e-tron. Aren’t they hybrid? See hybrid with an engine isn’t nearly as offensive. BMW have more or less said they won’t be putting anything else into electric, there’s signs it’s simply not the solution. I like engine noise, I’ve always loved cars cars are meant to make noise.
Mine's fully electric, but you can get Q3 and Q5s that are hybrid Mine was mainly a tax reason - I could get the car through the business and reduce the old corp tax
Haha no I always fancied one, but spending that much on a car was unlikely to happen without it being a tax write off
Wouldn't have a electric vehicle, just a case of greenwashing now. People forget about the mining of cobalt and lithium to make the batteries.
Aye, and the fact there’s no safe and clean way to dispose of the batteries after. It isn’t the solution.
"100 percent" or "100" has become a buz word of agreement. New Year has been replaced with "New Years" This whole coffee addiction that's taken over the country in general. Calling everything on telly a "Season" when it's a series. Out for a meal or going out for something to eat is now "out for food". When ordering a meal anywhere, "can I get" has replaced "I'll have". "Pre drinks", I mean, what the f**k is that?
People who don't cover their mouth when they cough. People who look at their phone while walking and just expect everyone else to get out of their way. People who use the word 'obviously' when what they're talking about is not remotely obvious.
Telling people they are bringing the food to the table - now “ plating up”. As well as the coffee, this countries obsession with pizza.
One thing springs to mind. People talking with food in their mouth. Disgusting. Got a belt round the ear once off me Dad for doing at the dinner table, lesson learned.
