I do also. No doubt a nice man, however, he would have been much nicer in my estimates if he'd resigned and not took the payoff. Anyway onwards and hopefully upwards
Iam sorry Cyprus but I dont feel a chuffin thing for him !!! As Cest has pointed out while I work everyday god sends to feed our lass and the bairn he can go home safe in the knowledge that his 'dismissal' will have earned him approx 2 million, and furthermore with rumours already abound in the north west tonite that Blackburn may be about to step in with an employment offer !!!...So mate dont feel sorry for him !! Feel sorry for the lads and lasses who spend good money (money they often dont have) supporting a club who's manager that has let them down badly in the last year or so. Nope I feel nothing for him..what I do feel is a wee bit more optimistic for the future now
am afraid that this situation is a sad indictment of football in general. No matter how these so called professionals perform they are rewarded handsomely. It sticks in your throat especially in the current economic climate. Don’t anyone tell me they have short careers!!
Honestly mate. I don't feel sorry for him. I just don't think he deserves the personal digs. If he looks on Twitter tonight he'd have to be a rock not to feel like ****. I don't care how much money he's got. Maybe I'm over reacting. Maybe he's at home now counting his cash and laughing at Sunderland...I doubt it though.
Blimey G Force....Heswall......are you a posh boy or what...lol......only jokin mate...us mackems get bloody everywhere !!
Mind you, it's very easy to take the moral high ground over brave people who use the anonymity of the internet to spout bile. And you're being disingenuous again. You're always good at dishing out the little snipes but very poor at taking them back. Back to where we were some weeks agon it would seem. Great shame for both of us.
Cyprus, I dont think the man will be sitting at home tonite feelin pleased with himself...I believe he did try his best for us..but mate, his best was never good enough and his constant tinkering team team selections convinced me in the end that he had lost not only the dressing room, the fans but the focus he had when he first came to the club. Nice fella ..yes...nice manager...no
Personal insults are a long way removed from "little snipes" me old china. When I cross the line I'm not to big to admit it. "Back to where we were some weeks agon it would seem." What does that mean? I'm ok as long as I agree with you? Well sorry.
Would you believe it? - the church bells are ringing across the road from here. It's coincidence - they always practice on Wednesday nights. But it just seems like the whole world is celebrating right now. Suits my mood, I suppose.
I'm not into the personal stuff. For me, Asamoah Gyan summed up the situation at Bruce's Sunderland best : "It seems a bit disorganized, and I'm not very happy there." That's it, I guess. Steve Bruce - a bit disorganized.
