Can you post a link to someone on here claiming he has changed the law, just to show you're not once again creating a fantasy that you can argue with yourself about?
These are the people tasked with giving the Government advice and carrying out their decisions. It's another reason those of you clinging to the colour of a rosette really don't get it. One plus Labour have, is these people will prefer them in power, as they find them thick and far easier to manipulate. During a meeting of the Home Affairs Select Committee, Home Office Permanent Secretary Matthew Rycroft refuses to elaborate on the circumstances under which migrant boats crossing the English Channel could be pushed back to France.
I'm guessing that the two that didn't turn up were the ones that knew the words and could hit a note. You'd have thought they'd at least have practiced first.
One dude has been jailed for 20 months for shouting at a police dog. Anyone who abuses animals deserves instant death. I once sneered at a neighbour's cat after it pooped on my rockery. True dat.
Someone should tell 30p Lee to check the detail such as dates before sending out official letters, just saying like as it appears minor details are important to him.
It doesn't say a lot that the most memorable thing in the place was a red stick. It's nearly as bad as Shepherd's Bush, but not as bad as Mill Wall, I mean, how bad must the Mill have been that people found the wall more notable.
If Starmer genuinely believed the misinformation he peddled about the protesters being the mythical far right, he should surely be pressing for some form of prevent training rather than cluttering prisons up? The fact that by far and above the majority at the protests were peaceful, and in Labour strongholds suggests he was spreading misinformation designed to encourage unrest.
Why are you all arguing about law breakers being jailed? Rioting is illegal. Looting is illegal. Being present at either puts you in the frame for prosecution.
Apparently they were the good guys. It's always someone else's fault for those lot, they're always the victims
I agree wholeheartedly, G-Man. Scum are scum and they deserve their bird. Just a shame the scum who attacked the police at the airport are walking free.
There are several lines being pushed. My own is pretty much what you've said, but with the additional observations on other crimes that haven't been treat equivalently. Some others are trying to argue solely along the lines you mention, which to me is futile. Apart from being arseholes for doing it in the first place, they ****ed the message for the peaceful majority, and gave Starmer a lazy excuse to smear people who are pointing at Government failings. The ones trying to stick solely to the rioters are just narrow minded and building their own fantasy versions of other peoples views, as it suits their own prejudice and agenda. They're best just ignored.
