Stop the McGuinness transfer now!!! Chambers and Goutas are not good enough. Both Bulut signings. If it goes ahead please don't let him blow any more money. Ideally McGuinness stays. Bulut goes and a new man has a chance to help us stay up with a couple of additions. I dread to think what more damage Bulut can do this window. I'm sure there's a few unfit players who will be ready in October to help us on our way to L1. Saying that L1 with a new manager with a belief in young players and attacking football will be better than Bulutball. R Colwill J Colwill Conte Ashford Kpacio Bagan Reindorf Tanner all I believe could give us a good chance of a bounce back with entertaining football.
Totally agree on McGuinness. We need him and his abilities at both ends of the pitch. He is also a leader. I don't see that in Goutas. Ralls and Rambo used to be but are now off the pace and can't do it. Whatever money we got for McGuinness we couldn't replace him in the short term, when we need him. He must come back into the side next Sunday. We need his character on the field.
IMO MM must stay. The last 4 championship games we’ve played have seen us ship 16 goals and MM didn’t start any of them. (Incidentally Hovarth has started all 4) Goutas isn’t the player he was. He’s error prone and whilst he may score the odd header from a corner his place is currently not justified. Chambers & MM to start next Sunday.
Unfortunately Bulut's comments last night about him not travelling to Burnley look like he's going. If Bulut has the balls he should put a stop to it.

A chunk of change for a defender when we're struggling for goals. Does that confirm McGuinness' exit? Erol going on about the need for another 3 or 4 signings. 7 or 8 of Saturday's starting 11 we're his signings. Has he signed the right players? Has he got the right set up? Can he and his coaches build a side? I'm still worried about all our injuries. Have the fitness coaches got it right? On paper, the incoming strengthened the squad. That's not been borne out by the first 2 games. Let's see in another half dozen games.
Have to say, as disappointing as it is to lose McGuinness it's the way of the world for teams like us... at least it looks like we are moving quickly to try and replace him. I am a little saddened it's to Luton though, only because I honestly can't see them repeating their heroics of 2 seasons ago. I'm not sure he'll be much better off with them than us (though financially I'm sure he'll be quids in). Suppose it's also a move closer to 'home' as well - perhaps that's a factor??
Yeah, selling to a rival is never good. A prem team, OK, but not a rival. Saying that, the way things have started, we won't be at the same end of the table as them.
Not sure we won't be at the same end of the table as them. They've only got the one point so far and were well beaten by 1-4 by Burnley on their own patch. A goalless draw at Portsmouth got them the point. Wouldn't be surprised to see them bomb.
Well we can't get any lower right now, so that's a must. Whichever way it goes, I reckon we'll finish above them - Rob Edwards has had his "15 minutes of fame".
