Definitely - good position for the manager to be in. Rigg looks so fearless of having his place in the first 11 imo - like he knows he is good enough for this level and is just going to go out and prove it to everyone watching.
Ballard goes straight back in, why wouldn’t he? He’s our best defender. You don’t leave out your best players upon their return from injury becsuse someone has half a decent game.
Personall, I dont think we need another CB unless we offload a couple, one definitely needs shipping out asp, if not two.

He was OK against Cardiff and had a decent first half yesterday. Ballard has had many decent games last season do we just forget that because we’ve kept two clean sheets without him? Do you think if Messi was injured for a game and Argentina won without him they’d leave him out when he was fit?
Tight call this one , we have to encourage players like Alese and Rigg by giving them games if they play like they did yesterday for the sake of the squad. Call it rotation if you like, but we are going to need more than eleven players over the coming season .
