Farke got his excuses in early after the match by throwing the owners under the bus. He said we need 4 players, a defender and midfielder and 2 forwards. I’m sure the club are trying to get them for me. In other words if I don’t get them it’s not my fault we dont go up. Thats statement can only cause friction…..
In all fairness to Farke he doesn’t hold the purse strings reminiscent of Rads not supporting Marcelo when it mattered
Emu what did FARKE do last season, was there anything to shout about? Yes he got 90 points but it wasn’t good enough. It wasn’t his fault he had a slow start to the season, but he got the team on track and got us to the top of the league, we were odds on favs for autos. That’s when he failed and that failure is carrying over into this season. 2 wins in the last 12 games is crap. Those last games from Easter onwards, beside the play win against Norwich were garbage. Every lower ranked team had our number and knew how to stop us. To me that’s a failure mate. Points just thrown away to teams like Plymouth, Preston, Huddersfield etc. he hasn’t even come up with a reason why? If he says they were tired, well he had his favs who, played almost every game and some just sat on the bench instead of taking some of the strain. I think his man management is garbage, his tactics are garbage, his team selections and substitutions are garbage. I cannot see him having better quality team this season than, unless the 49ers and our recruitment team oull some serious miracle in the next 10 days. So a weaker team this season trying to get promotion will be even tougher. Parker right now at lowly Burnley has them flying. Even the Blunts are going well Hull City have invested again, WBA will be in the mix, Coventry and Luton and a bunch more hurdles for us to get over. Also FARKE has done nothing anywhere except that couple of seasons at Norwich and only had a 33% win ratio at Borusia and the fans demanded he get sacked. When FARKE actually achieves anything Imwill get on the FARKE train
The current squad as @ 18th August But we cannot judge Farke's chances of success until the transfer window closes. It's absolutely not Farke's fault that the club have not given him to tools he needs yet.
Actually not even a rumour just something Simon Jordan mentioned in passing. Thought we would be the ideal club for Moyes.
I get it. You don't like FARKE. I just don't agree that he is getting his excuses in early. They are valid concerns. He obviously feels that he needs a full back, a midfielder and two attackers to replace Summerville and Rutter. I tend to agree with him. Do i think he is the perfect manager? No, but not every last thing is down to Farke. He's had his best attacking threats sold, we've signed nobody either to improve from last season OR to replace them. I'm not gonna blame Farke for not having an attacking spark in the team.
It is a concern that the possibility of losing Rutter was always there and replacements seem scarce, it was also poor planning not holding on to Summerville for another few days. They knew Rutter was going on Tuesday, tomorrow is day six since they knew. The board need to pull a big name or two out this week
I reckon he has been spying on me back in the day when I managed a Senior vets team. As our games were played on a "friendly" basis i.e. no league table involved I used to create my plan in advance of each game to factor in 60 mins game time for every involved in the game. I knew i should have copyrighted my spreadsheet....
I was always a great advocate of side before self and always started on the bench. I factored in anybody who played a full 90 into my selection for the following week. This was by far the most equitable way of managing a bunch of old gits and yet still some moaned!
