The Chairboys welcome the favourites for promotion to Adams Park for our first home game of the season and for the first time since the COVID season in the Championship when we were undefeated against them we have met seven times and we have won twice and drew once. Matty will make a change with Alex Hartridge suspended Out: Brandon Hanlan. Doubts: Beryly Lubala and David Wheeler. I will be at AP for this one along with the two Blues looking forward to a good game and getting our first points on the board
I will also be at this one with my grandson, I have a distant memory of watching Birmingham in the standing section before the Frank Adams stand was built. Looking at the results on Chairboys on the net. Must have have been the 1994/95 season.
Hey guys, I’m currently on holiday in France and have heard how people abroad can watch the 3 o’clock games. Is that on wanderers tv? Or some other platform. Cheers.
After a lot of looking at all my options, I can’t watch it listen to it or even watch soccer Saturday or final score. Mostly due to brexit.
A fair result in the end, they took their chances we didn't, I thought the Ref was poor he set himself up early by booking Harvie early on, from then on in the first half everything went down their right wing.It was though at 3 o'clock he decided I am going to stamp any problems out. The linesman opposite the Frank Adams was as bad, they both missed a handball for the first goal & May is as bigger pest against us Rhodes used to be. Birmingham played some quick passing, you have to say we never pressed them often enough, the Birmingham goalkeeper at times was on the edge of the circle of the half way line. Jasper got caught hopelessly out of position for their second. Also I think Blooms is putting to much faith in Kone with his inexperience, he missed a good chance before the first goal very much like the one against Wrexham. What has Vokes got to do to get a full game in a Bloomfield side. .
Having said that it's our next 5 games which are going to see where we really are Rotherham H, Blackpool A, Mansfield H, Northampton A, & Cambridge H, I think we all thought any sort of a points return from our first two fixtures would have been a bonus.
I'm in Manche, Normandy, the next dept up. So you are right on the tip of Brittany. Did you get a flight there or go on one of the ferries?
Got the Plymouth to Roscoff ferry, then under 2 hours drive to an Airbnb. Lovely quiet spot with plenty of beaches and no one around. Just waiting for the sun.
I've only been to the east side of Brittany but have heard there are nice beaches in Brittany. Doesn't seem to be any long sunny spells anywhere. Went to Italy for a couple of days (got back last night) and it was in and out there; the sun that is
