    Should we sign the lad? I say yes! Strong, great technical ability, fantastic control, and a decent goalscorer.... A slight upgrade on Best I feel, and would be a valuable addition to the squad! Test Stoke's resolve with a 5-6 million bid? He can also play on the left... Stoke may sell seeing as how they've already got Crouch, Jones, Jerome and Fuller up front.

    I dont really think we need another striker. We've already got Ba, Ben Arfa and Best competing for two spots with Shola in reserve and Maiga joining in January.

    No, Demichelis does and he's much worse than him. Just because Trappatoni prefers Walters doesnt make him the better player.

    Fair point, but Best has only scored in two games this season and his goal drought is approaching 9 weeks now... Walters, on the other hand, has been scoring for fun!

    No, Walters is first choice at Stoke, is under contract for many years yet, and loves the club, and is older than Best, and has a worse record, and is just not the player we'd go for.
