Not a nice thing to say, you are entitled to your opinion of course, but Southampton isn't an easy team to follow, but they aren't really bad, been supporting them since 1955 and we have been through the mill, but there have been good times too, could be worse! Back where we belong, whether we can stay there is anybodies guess.

Respect mate I know the feeling.

I don't think I've said anything unreasonable on here and I've even said you guys were the better team even before the red.

Some seem to want to lash out which is very strange behaviour given the comments I've made. I guess they want everyone to come on here and lie to them.

If they are annoyed now it's not a good early sign. It's a long season ahead so for all the good guys on here I wish you all the best..

    Laters

    until next time.

Big shout out for Flynn Downes yesterday.

I’ve been confident he was too good for the championship for age: nice to see it confirmed. Thought he was magnificent against one of the best midfields in the league

Agree, the speed to bite back to petty mild wind-ups is a bit embarrassing in itself to be honest.
If the response was to play along or ignore him, he would probably be gone by now. He's harmless, there's no need to get arsey* with him.
*Not sure if that's even a word, but you know what I mean.

I always think the guys in the NE are a different breed altogether. It's like they are so far away from the rest of the country that the 21st century hasn't reached there yet.
Although they have modern bathrooms, they still wash off the dirt from the foundry in a steel bath in front of the open fire. " If it was good enough for my da' it's good enough for me". Bathrooms and central heating are for the lasses.
In the winter they get ready for the game by taking a clean, freshly ironed shirt and putting it back in the wardrobe, kiss the picture of Gazza in the hall, and walk to St James' half naked. Their belly's overlapping their belts like a giant muffin. They drink in men-only pubs before and after the match. The lasses stay at home to look after the bairns and have the dinner on the table for whenever he decides to leave the pub. If he goes out with a mate and his wife, the women shouldn't interrupt and only talk to each other. The men talk about the Toon and a woman should NEVER, EVER, give her opinion on football.
That's my take on it anyway.

I don’t think people are annoyed. I just personally feel nothing but pity for you that you have the time to post wind ups on another teams forum. You must have a ridiculously pathetic life to spend time doing that

Just had to look up who N. Wood-Gordon was, on the subs bench. Another double barrelled Saints player. Must have a look at our current double barrelled name list. Poshest club in the PL?

There’s posh. We need to step it up a bit and get some minor royalty on the books. Not just Princewell. Kingsley Coman?

    God, I feel old.

I remember when he used to play for Boro. Bumped into him and a few others from Boro in my local when I was at Uni. Don't think I quite got over the jaw drop moment of seeing Bryan Robson and Viv Anderson in such a random place.
