I kind of get it. Not many clubs play with a player in a free role now and he’s not good enough off the ball to play elsewhere for a top club. A shame as if he was around in another era he’d be courted by the whole league. Would be a great signing for you if you spent any money.
Olise would have made more sense (though there's no way you'd choose us over Bayern Munich) as his role is pretty much what we need. Agree with Roy though that if Gordon does go (and i don't think he will) then we'll ensure we get enough money to then trigger the apparent £60m value Eze seems to have on him. I'd prefer to just keep Gordon though.
