Excellent. Some cracking stuff. That first set piece goal was a thing of beauty. Over the moon for Mayenda, calm finish. Rigg playing superbly. Roberts close to his best again for me. Cirkin is class.
Pleased for Mayenda getting the goal - but loved seeing the 17 yr old pushing him to the crowd to take his moment!
Excellent first half. Wednesday looked good on the ball for the first 10 minutes but we've been well drilled and controlled it. Chris Rigg in particular has been outstanding. His stand out 45 minutes in red and white so far. Great to see Mayenda on the score sheet and Cirkin with a great header being a superb aerial presence as usual.
Well, thank you SAFC, I've now got renewed hope for the rest of the season and my expectations are higher than ever. Haway the lads.
Aye great scoreline obviously but it's the high energy attacking football (at home) that's so good to see. Not quite as sexy as peak Mowbray but just as satisfying to watch.
