This has come out of left field. He sounds another wrong un.

Sheffield United's takeover may go through shortly. Prince Abdullah is now looking at other EFL clubs to buy with the money from the Blades sale and join his United World group, with Charlton Athletic on his radar.

This is ESI all over again. It came from Alan Nixon so probably nonsense.

https://www.sheffieldunited.news/ne... bin Mosaad bin,but he was refused permission.

I suspect our owners would be happy to flip the club for a profit. This might have legs

I hope not. I think the owners are doing a good job. The pitch looked great yesterday.

I agree. They are hard headed foreign businessmen, not Charlton fans.

@Mr Sitter ever pompous mate welcomed the new owners to the Museum yesterday :emoticon-0110-tongu If he was a chocolate digestive, he would have eaten himself long ago.

Unlike with Katrien & Southall, he didn’t post a selfie.

Been a bit of takeover speculation of late with #cafc - but no chance of any of it becoming fact. Current ownership, many of whom were at the game on Saturday, resolutely determined to be at the helm of the club for the long term.

I wonder if the possibility still exists that the Prince might want part of the Club.
Depends what he wants for his money I suppose.

I think most normal fans would be happy to let SE7 Partners have this full season at the helm, to show what they can do.

That will be two full proper transfer windows, with their SMT & management team at the helm and accountable for them.

There can be no more excuses & gaslighting. They have Nathan Jones and their coaching team, and they have set the budgets.

Championship status should be a minimum requirement for CAFC.
