I don’t think any team, even the likes of Manchester City and Real Madrid, get things perfect all of the time. But it’s pleasing to see that SAFC are a far cry from the crap we used to sign on a regular basis and not being able to see talent, be it already there or emerging. I believe we even turned down Chris Waddle as a youngster as the scouts thought he’d never make it.
Yes we did, said used up his holidays from the sausage factory he was working in for his 2 week trial at the club he supported as a boy. Our loss was Newcastle's gain unfortunately
