We did well out of the Conway deal…… https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/tommy-conway-bristol-city-middlesbrough-fee/
Yep, if it is £4.5m with add-ons, we did very well. Already in 2 games, Mayulu looks a better prospect for me. I'd like to see him and Armstrong up top together st some point to see if it works. I think they could terrify defences.
Conway would not have scored either goal that Armstrong or Fally scored. We have far better strikers now. They must play together said this from day one. They would cause havoc to any team.
Don’t think Armstrong can play full 90 minutes as he’s a big lad, and very fast. Think that was QPR fans view as well. I like the plan for him to terrorise the defence for first 55-60 minutes and let Mayulu come on against a tired defence, plus allows Fally time to adjust and get fully on board with the Championship. It’s behind them two we need the players. I think it’s going to be Twine Yu and Earthy and in a perfect world interchanging that’s going to confuse the opposition. With Knight and Bird behind them with Williams as a back up. Won’t work like that as injuries suspensions will come at certain points. Defence to me looked a bit panicky yesterday so hoping Atkinson comes back sooner to give us options. Tanner I like right hand side but needs to work on forward play a bit more. But he’s young and will improve on that. Pring felt a bit behind the play yesterday. MOL is fine just needs a better back up incase ever needed.
different gravy and such is the shape of football you never can compare as before / inplace of those 2 stikes there may have been opportunities to have other players scoring from a different perspective! they certainly lost something for 20 / 25 mins in second half! was it complacency by failure to press from mid field that allowed them to have opportunities that they took! a lesson to be learned a stronger team would have seen us taking nil points!
4 exciting Bristol City starlets that could make the club serious money https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/exciting-bristol-city-starlets-make-the-club-serious-money/ A selling club.....
Liam Manning discusses Tommy Conway exit and Bristol City's attempts to keep him in BS3 Tommy Conway will be playing against Bristol City this season, rather than for the club who had nurtured him from the age of seven into becoming a Championship striker https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/liam-manning-tommy-conway-bristol-9494222
Supercomputer for the Scum places us - guess where - YES, mid-table!!! Interesting the Blackburn prediction……. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/2996...ip-table-wayne-rooney-plymouth-burnley-leeds/
A good, measured response from LM. I like his style of managing. He doesn’t come across as abrasive and arrogant as some of our recent managers have..
I think the bottom 8 clubs looks about right, but in what order is anyone’s guess. I think the top 10 will be quite different. I don’t see Norwich, Hull, Swansea and Millwall that high. Not sure about Leeds either after they have sold so many players. Mind you, I said that about Leicester last season
