I have had a bit of banter with TWF on the Hull-Mad board and found him to be a nice intelligent lad. You will eventually realise this- take the

word of a lady old enough to be his grandmother. The guys from the Hull board know me as MrsBMB and I help to run a goals competition with

my hubby who is registered there. It's my first post on this board so Hi to everyone.I am a Darlington fan!

Unfortunately his banter goes over the heads of a lot on here, and they react violently because they don't actually get it. To quote a great philosopher, I pity the fools.

Oh and hi up in Darlo :)

to be fair to TWF, he has different opinions to the minority, i would find it pretty boring if on these forums everyone had the same opinions, just gives different perspective. The people sending abuse are just asking for it back from TWF, like this thread , if people really hate him isnt there a ignore button you can press??its not hard.

I'd completely forgotten about the "ignore" facility.

Not quite sure why a lot of you are defending him, he's just doing it to wind people up.

Only the paranoid and unreasonable think that. I'm merely stating my opinion like everybody else on here.

Indeed, it's just attention seeking nonsense.

Im not really defending him to be fair , just looking at it as it is.Its just every time he makes a opinion everyone is on him, i disagree with what he says but whats the point of arguing if hes not gonna change his opinion?if he is such an 'attention seeking person'why do people insist on giveing a comback to what he says then to fuel him apparentlely more, and giving him attention then ???!!!cant they ignore it. Im not actually defending him here , because there are lots of points i disagree on but its just a difference in opinion, but he hasnt wind me up yet and if he does i would probably just use the ignore option, simple really.End of.

I am not sending any abuse. I am pointing out that regardless to constant accusations that the club is

    a, badly run
    b, poorly managed
c, keeping the dross and releasing the quality

the team is still progressing. It would appear that there are too many fans since 2004( and I welcome them all ) have known only success and are therefore struggling to understand the tough times football can bring. And at my age I have seen a few receivership battles and am damn glad we managed( by sheer luck) to avoid our final one before we said goodbye to football in this city.

I have not been to Darlington for over 40 yrs and live in NSW Australia.

Been her since 1968. Born in Millom and lived there until 1966.

First husband's parents lived there and my father-in-law was a mad

Quakers fan. Took me to my first soccer match and I was hooked!

Oh, hi down there in NSW then. Must be fun trying to keep up with English Footy but nice to see you've not forgotten your roots.

Always said NP makes good signings, just can't get the best out of them collectively.

Everyone has an opinion but when it is a load of effing bollocks then he deserves to ger berated for it surely.

1 loss in 18 games, climbed from the bottom 3 to 8th and the manager is slated for not getting the best out of his team....jesus what does the man have to do to keep everyone happy.

We are not going to do anything this season with a new team, in fact almost a new squad....we had no money early on and we had 8 or 9 new faces at the start of the season yet here we are with 15 games to go and we are not far away from actually making a play off place....I would suggest the manager has done the exact opposite of what TWF says...I think based on results he is getting the very best out of his players, his loan signings and his team as a whole.

    Just my opinion of course
