Well, that's the easy bit done with, the hard bit is who will replace him, who will come to Sunderland & grab the team by the throat & tell them to stop taking the piss, who has the courage to make decisions on the playing staff, I bet there's one or two players now who are worried. Which manager will have the pedigree to take us further & attract the players to get us there, that's the hard bit now, Ellis, Niall think carefully, this decision may well make or break this club of ours, good luck
Cannot believe discussions will not have taken place within the SoL this week re: a short list (no pun intended) of whom is to replace brucie.
To be honest I think that as well as timing, Gary speed unfortunately lost his life at the weekend & Ellis & Niall probably wouldn't want to intrude in the press with all the things being said about him, then there's the negotiating of a compensation package for SB, there may well be a new manager in place next Monday, the decision to Sack SB was probably made Saturday night/Sunday morning & perhaps they started the process & may have just about cut a deal, hopefully with someone that can give us hope
