This has grown on me, I used to be slightly embarassed by it but seeing the opportunity to get Wilson, Lascelles, Targett and also the unused subs in there is great. More importantly though having Schar in there (who looks a touch shy about it given the circumstances) and Murphy is really good. What we looked like we lacked more than anything today wasn't quality but intensity, we looked like we weren't actually ready for the season to start. Thankfully we won and there's only a few games before the international break - after which most of the other clubs competing for the top 7/8 positions will have European games to contend with.
This is true, but Burn was consistently out of position. It took an injury list miracle for the Burn to be shifted to CB and Hall played. An even greater miracle allowed Livramento to start playing. So Burn has improved simply because he's at CB now and not ****ing LB
Not really. Let’s be honest. It was absolutely ****. Then we had a player sent off which was stupid. Then we got a goal out of nothing. Thanks Joe: and then we hung on for 65 minutes.
