Well. Who could have seen that coming?
    Answer? DevonHoop and KentGaz!

I think we'd have all taken an away point from Blades prior to the game so no big disaster.

    Really pleased for Dykes.

Thought we were going to get a hiding after that start. But well done Rangers. Couple of impressive performances that will get us off our seats in future games

I also admit that I went for a walk with the dog in the 2nd half. Although it was the dog’s idea, I did not complain and now I rather regret not being more firm with my four legged companion.

Never saw that coming. A great come back. We started the second half really positively and deserved a point at the end after a disastrous start.
Aside from the obvious injuries, my main concerns are Varane and Lloyd. Varane looks like he doesn’t want the ball and rarely makes himself available. When he does the ball goes sideways or back. Also poor at tracking a runner which cost us twice today. Really hope he improves but the early signs are worrying. Unfortunately I can’t see Lloyd being good enough. As for Colback…
Absolute positives were the contributions from Dembélé and Saito. Both were excellent. All 3 strikers I thought played well and very pleased for Dykes.
Hopefully we’ll take confidence from that keep our fingers crossed for chair

Considering the defenders they have it was a very pleasing performance second half regardless of the result. Nardi had little to do. Lovely stuff. Pepsi Max all round as I’m not drinking.

[QUOTE="Hammersmith bookie, post: 17773079, member: 1047034" Colback and Paal can **** off and the sooner the better. One not interested in playing for us abd the other is just thicker than a whale omelette rrrrrrr'sssssss[/QUOTE]
Thought Paal played pretty well second half. Saved a certain goal with a header off the line

I thought Paal did ok today too. Colback was a big improvement on Varane 2nd half, he held the ball well, passed it short and accurately and got us playing again in a much improved 2nd half. Until he got sent off for I can only guess were some verbals twice?! Andersen's injury looked bad, but Dembele and Saito were both pretty good and had much better starts than Rak-Saki

Assume Colback was thick enough to say the wrong thing twice unless anyone knows more. All the more frustrating because he was a big part of the improvement in the second half compared to Varane who was scared of having the ball.

You heard it here first! What a wonderful surprise to return to, no thanks to Colback. I wonder what the odds would have been on a 2-2 result when we were 2-0 down at HT? I did get the pillows all lined up and there was a lady at the pool with a proper QPR hoops towel.
"All present and correct, Sir" as my Sgt Maj Dad would say, or, "You horrible little man" (applied to Colback). He would certainly have been proud of the result today for sure.

    Start saito
Go big or go home as they say, although technically I'm sorta home here ish sorta

Anyway yes got a batch of robustos which was a welcome yet unexpected bonus

The lad's leaving Qatar to take a job back in the delights of Sheffield early Sep and will move back home with the ex Mrs WBA2

He'll pop a consignment in the post for you mate - the organic Plasencia's are fantastic

Great afternoon, from zero hope back to that seminal Mackie strike at Derby eons ago

I feel we we've become one of those sides who are totally unpredictable, from sh**e to sublime at any moment

Really like the Japanese lad, you could see his total commitment and desire from the second he stepped onto the Bramall Lane turf

Feel like there's finally goals up for grabs for Frey, Dykes and Celar with Dembele and Saito in the ranks. Could end up being a good tussle as to who becomes the main man.

Screenshot_20240817-183517_Samsung Internet.jpg Where did yiu hear 10 weeks ? Here it says out for some more weeks. If its 10 weeks ffs then obviously that's 2 1/2 months . Not good at all especially if Andersens injury rules him out for a while. A number 10 playing behind a striker and with the 2 wingers either side would be lovely !

Well that felt like a win! What an atmosphere from our fans. First half was an absolute shambles, the only bright spot was the obvious talent that Dembele has. What a player he could be for us. A lot more dangerous when he went central. I was dreading the 2nd half but what a performance and fully deserved. Frey, worked his socks off, Smyth caused problems and linked very well with Dembele. Colback, what a tit, looked like both were for dissent as we had a corner when he received his second yellow on the half way line. The ball wasn't even in play FFS. Then our little jap set up Dykes and boom, we went ****ing mental. Stewards dragging fans away!! These 2 signings are just what we need!!
