I think clearer signs are taking on a newly promoted side, playing them off the park and getting a morale boosting comfortable victory.

Didn’t really sound like we had a plan. Sounds like we played very much like how we did against “lesser” teams last season. From these stats and the sound of the match on NUFC.co.uk it was very unimpressive.

 

He has one assist and a good one at that.

We were shockingly bad. I’ve seen us get whooped by 4 or 5 and play better. Only word u could describe today’s was sloppy

It's his boyhood club ... it doesn't take a genius to know he'll fancy that move.

 

I said the same after the game. Never pressed, never tackled, never went with the normal enthusiasm
