Really hitting home to me the quality difference we have on the field from last season, yet still this was an improvement on last years result here, mad how we didn’t manage top 6. point gained for me.
Think if anything it underlines just how much playing for survival can galvanise players in front of their home fans. We also knew we had no chance once WBA scored a couple of goals which would have damaged our motivation. Tough to compare the two games.
