The team is as bad as it is because there’s no relegation, they’ve basically done a mid-season rebuild by paying off a load of players and replaced them with kids / loan signings, until the new players and permanent coach come in next season. Easy to do when you don’t need to worry about results.
All clubs got to vote on the plans, including the two semi-pro leagues below Super League. The motion passed with 86% of the vote. So a fair few smaller clubs were also on board with it.
Iff thats how it is Airlie... good luck to them... they showed signs of a resurgence a few weeks back (despite not winning ) and now sen to have stalled a bit again..?
Apparently each team is rated by stadium, training facilities, academies etc. so basically Hull never need to actually win a game ever again. RFL/Super League are ****ing nuts.
