I don’t know if it’s an omen or not but the Sheffield Wednesday fan at Fulwell Quarry Parkrun is anything to go by we’ll be 0-1 down after 89mins and win 2-1 by the end of added time!

That’s a fair overreaction, mind. They’ve been working with their manager since last season. We’ve had two competitive games.

I’m fully expecting bumps along the way in the first ten games or so. We’d be daft not to. We’ll make mistakes and we’ll look clunky early on. We’ll lose games as a consequence. Regardless of transfers I expect us to have a stronger second half of the season than first half.
