I suggested when he came back that he's really not had an off-season since he joined Metz has he? Went from them to Brazil where their season was just starting in January/February and has been playing since.
Oscar’s all-round game has always been fairly ****, that’s why we shipped him out on loan in the first place.
Oscar was played through 1 on 1 and put it in the back of the net... but he was offside, that's soley his fault. He was also offside from a set piece, also poor. His first touch has been consistantly ****. He's just not very good. If you need to build a whole team around him, for him to not look like a competition winner, maybe he's just not that good.
good chance! and good football to create it.....thinking back to last game of last season, I think this is an improvement on last time we were here, we still look shaky at the back but are more agressive and quick going forwards, I keep hoping that it's just going to click once the players get used to it and the new players bed in.....Macca looking more comfortable (and brave) than Jones so far today
Melhem really seems to have a knack of turning up in the right place. Probably is a little harsh on Oscar in reflection but I guess in a game where you're struggling to get a foothold you really need the ball to stick a bit.
Did you see that useless **** Oscar blaze it over the bar from 8 yards Useless **** oh hang on it was mehlem Unlucky that well played
"A lot of possession but they haven't really created anything." Third game in a row I've heard that phrase from a commentator on a Hull City match. I know we had to endure this initially with Rosenior last season where we had loads of the ball and didn't try and score, but I was hoping that there were enough players left over to remember how to get us into attacking positions. At the moment we seem to be giving Plymouth a lot of room to pass the ball which is a real concern, coupled with the fact that we aren't all attacking as a unit. A few times we've had a ball into the box with nobody there to attack it. We need to be sharper in the second half, but I don't know who can come on and change the game because we still lack the strength in depth needed to change a game. Hopefully we can avoid defeat at least.
