Really enjoyable performance this half with obvious areas we need to improve but we can now sit back and see how the rest get on .

Sounds like a classic game against a newly promoted team. New team runs around alot, lots of energy and excitement committing fouls. Run out of steam in the second half and we win cause we're better and fitter. I shall have to judge when I see the highlights later. I would expect this will be the story of Ipswich's season, much like Luton last and Leeds before. Lots of excitement getting back to the Prem but lacking real quality to keep up with the established clubs.
btw early on when Ipswich hit us on the break Gravenberch came charging back at what appeared to be a rate Usain Bolt would have been pleased with . I never realised he was that quick or did i imagine it
I thought he had a good game, but Salah was always going to be MOTM as he scored one and made one. His all round play was decent as well.

Well played lads Your superior quality told in the end. I’m proud of our lads they gave it their all and that’s all we can ask from them. I’m not disappointed as this game won’t define our season. I thought tactically we were spot on first half but when you’re up against world class players the gulf in quality will always count in the end.
