Right. Just got in. No idea what's happened, so let's start reading this thread. Will I get to page 5 before giving up ?
I think we are set up so we don't lose today. At-least that way Farke can say (in his presser) that we did better than we did last season at the Hawthorns!
Imagine our team coached by Corberan. He has switched his line up and countered Farkes selection. We look crap and disjointed and as usual fooking around at the back. We don’t really go forward unless a winger is running with the ball, but we do go backwards a lot
I disagree, I think we are working very hard not to concede after being criticised for letting in six in the previous two games. Unfortunately that has a negative effect on us attacking. I think I used a lot of words to say we’re “parking the bus”.
I had something last season which I thought was a balti pie, anyway I was eating it in my seat at half time and all I can say is don't wear the white shirt when doing that.
it just looks hard work doesn't it when we go forward nobody is grabbing it by the neck and saying lets have a go. its a slow build up and taking the easy option of playing the ball backwards to try to hold possession. the long balls down the flanks are bread and butter for them we need to break them open but the creativity isn't there Willy and James are direct footballers Gruev is neat and tidy but simple passing. Piroe is Piroe runs around the pitch not effecting anything in game play other than being a option for the ball in which he needs 15 touches. That run he done when the pass was on and he took a shot which rolled past the post at 2mph summed up our chances on goal.
And for those of us saying they’d take David Moyes this is what you’d watch every game. It would probably end in a promotion though. Either way this is the team we have once the creative players have been sold.
That foul on Gnonto is a booking. Beats his man and gets pulled down. It's as professional as you get. An easy yellow.
Well, approaching the hour mark. This is where players start to tire. Interesting to see if we open up a bit.
