This experiment with Piroe needs to stop. Get Aaronson on and sell him, Piroe is not a 10 for a team wanting to win the league and he’s not a 9 so keep Aaronson as a backup CAM, buy another and get a winger in.
rather than attacking we are just playing a containing game we playing not to concede. no risks understandable with 6 in 2 games but we dont look like scoring at all so far.
Firpo unlucky there. It was just a collision, he never left his foot in to hurt anyone. The West Brom player went in just the same.
had enough of Piroe he can't play that role and never will. Firpo will now get sent off we are so slow going forwards banging long balls down the sides which bolt wouldn't even catch.
That reminds me very much of the Norwich away game in the play offs last season. We're content to keep things tight at the back which is sensible after the last two games. The obvious difference is the lack of quality on the break. Piroe has done okay but he's no Georginio. Gnonto is no Summerville. Joseph has done okay feeding on scraps. The midfield is very negative. We need an 8 to play with Ampadu. Gruev sits too deep.
It's the rules that are wrong. If Firpo gets there first then the West Brom player gets booked. It should just be a 'get up and get on with it' scenario and a free kick to West Brom.
well West Brom are a decent team but I was expecting more of a attacking threat from us both fullbacks on yellows is a big worry we need to have a bit more belief because this game looks like we are just going through the motions for us.
