Deadline 6.30 this evening for week 1 and just five registered for our league so far.

There must be a few more players on here, surely?

 

I rarely watch Premier League football any more. Only know about 10% of the players, if that.

Would jus be a total crapshoot on my part.

 

Fair enough. I do it for a bit of extra interest when I'm watching in the pub.

I finished something like 1.6 millionth last year, which isn't quite as useless as it seems - it would comfortably be in the top 20%. My son, who takes it way more seriously than I do, finished in the top 2%.

 

Snap. It’s a mystery to me. However, my lad is part of a league where he works so I’ve asked him to send me his picks. If I get them in time I’ll enter.

 

Turns out my lads league is a different beast, they were all down the pub picking their squads from on a ‘draft’ basis last night. I used his picks anyway, but had £17m left over for last player.

So I got Haaland.

I assume I just ignore this now. In a fit of pessimism I’m Losers.

 

I used to be alright at this but like you Leif I'm lost with most of the players now (didn't even know a few of the England squad).

Not sure why but when selecting my team I can't seem to find Rooney or Owen!

I have no idea how to do that. Thought the website was **** to be honest, spent most of the time declining the opportunity to get updates on whether Guardiola wiped his arse this morning, but then is is run by the PL. loads of pretty clashing colours and nothing of substance.


Just worked it out. What happens if half the team are long term injured?

I switched players just now, seems to show in ‘starting line up’, none of them were playing yesterday. Anyway, suspect this little burst of interest will be short lived……

 

Any changes you've made after 6.30 last night will only be effective for next week's games.

Why does everyone on here partake in the Prediction League ? For the kudos of course, only difference is there's a nice little cash incentive in Fantasy ! It's just a bit of fun Wherever. Life's grim enough being a hoop !

 

Can’t be arsed normally and I’ll probably give up unless I’m doing great after a few weeks but did well today with Onana coming in for Darwin.
