Travelled back in time earlier today, we went to Hornsea for fish and chips, and travelled the scenic route on the way home. I stopped for petrol at Maple Garage, Sproatley, and an attendant dispensed the petrol, can't be many garages doing that nowadays. Oh, and it was cheaper than the rip off supermarkets.

I quite like grave yards, but I can't resist a smile when I see one with just the top of the stone filled in, with the expectation the other half would be written in when they join them, but they seem to have found someone else to spend eternity with.

 

I've got a picture in me head of the one hand waving with a queue formed behind it of people thinking it's a bus stop.

 

The ****ing about and cost of getting my mam into the family plot and her name added to the gravestone, I imagine many give up and send them off to be cremated.
