    Of course it is.

New jobs are a fixed number. They can't have more new jobs than the number of new jobs there are. You can't have 200% of a pizza.

But that doesn't work in this context. I understand where PowerSpurs is coming from, but it doesn't make any sense.

If a school has a job advertised and I get it then I have got a hundred percent of new jobs. If some else at the school loses their job, I have got a hundred percent of the the advertised jobs until the sacked persons job is advertised.

So I don't get your logic

It's not my logic, it's Trump's but what he is trying to say, very clumsily, is that migrants have taken more jobs than the number of new jobs created. When he says 100% he doesn't mean all the new jobs were taken by migrants, he means that the number of jobs taken by migrants is the same as the number of new jobs created.
It's probably a lie anyway but I think it is a valid mathematical description.

Indeed, but the specific issue here is of terminology
    (new/existing/defunct jobs, worker increase/replacement) .

You're being very generous ... new jobs created doesn't include jobs that become vacant cos of resignations / sackings / retirement / promotions etc.

They are completely different things. Fair enough mistake to be made if you are surrounded by advisers, script writers and running for president <laugh>

Just as an example if there were 10 litres of beer in a bowl and someone poured in another litre and then I took a litre out and drank it....I would have consumed 100% of the amount added. If I had taken 1.2 litres out and drank it I would have consumed 120% of the amount added. In both cases some of the actual beer added would still be in the bowl.

You are assuming 100% means 'all of' whereas I think it means 'the same amount as'.

Demented, incoherent ramblings....But even with the recent poll swings it is still likely that he will win in November. <doh>

This nicely sums it up ...

The Rest is Politics (US) podcast is a good listen. Scarramucci, despite overplaying his brief tenure in the WH, is well connected and his thoughts are quite insightful. :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Dear People of Clacton
You must be so proud and grateful to be represented on a world stage! :emoticon-0148-yes:
Well, to be fair 'represented' is probably doing some heavy lifting here, seeing as how your MP was only there for 2 days and by all accounts spent most of that in his hotel room crying that Donnie wouldn't meet him! But heh - look on the bright side. At least it was another few days that that the gurning frog-faced **** wasn't coming to your town. <laugh>

George Cottrell is a convicted felon:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Cottrell#Arrest_and_conviction

Christopher Harborne was previously a massive donator to the Tory party.
He received massive contracts from the government in a completely unconnected fashion.
He's heavily into cryptocurrency, was named in the Panama Papers and is connected to arms manufacturers.

Not a good day to be on Planet Zionism, as Reginald D Hunter has clearly consulted his lawyer and has brought receipts...
