We have the option to buy him and if by some small chance he is banned, his club have agreed that he can be released from his contract and City don't have to pay him anything in compensation. Of course, if we're sneaky, we could have him train with us, have Acun lend him a few grand to live on and then sign him on a free transfer after his ban.
From that, there's two notable things - 1. He's a very confident passer of the ball. 2. He's very good at getting out of the **** when the keeper sells him short. Looks like a great signing. Also looks like he might get a few red cards, but we've needed a bastard for a long time.
What I was getting at, is it a first refusal option... all pie in the sky of course... but if a 'top team' came calling could they recall him from his loan as we did Oscar and then sell.
From what I understand with options to buy clauses is the terms of their "future" permanent contract are already agreed before the loan goes through. So if we decide to trigger the buy out clause, he's our player. At least thats how I understand it to be.
Yeah it's Youtube, I know I know..., but his range of passing from short to long and crossfield to in the channels is very impressive. Looks composed and not afraid to get stuck in. One thing I notice is he tends to put a foot up when he goes in, which he may have to work on as that's a complete no no in our league. I am very interested to see how he adapts - we may just have a crown jewel on our hands imho.
thanks for this…..he looks a fantastic player, just what we need….a midfielder with a bit of bite & a fantastic forward pass… I’m getting excited now!! Does he replace Seri?
I think it’s more of an obligation if he’s not banned isn’t it than a true option, but might be wrong.
Thank **** for that. The worlds not coming to an end, we're not getting relegated, we've got a team of 11 to play. Turns out my prediction that we're gonna win the league is already showing more likely to happen than what some were predicting.
While I'm not a fan of yout tube clips ever since Kamil Ghilas, he does look very good on the ball and his vision for a pass seems excellent.
Only an opinion but Hughes could be a better all round ball player with better awareness and vision for creating attacks than Greaves was, and we had change left after buying him.
