Just like all of them. We don’t seem willing or able to give players 5 year deals. I guess they need the leverage to be able to somewhat guarantee a move after two good years
Hopefully this also is the case with the loan as well because the deals seem to have been discussed at the same time same as the medicals
Did anyone actually watch much of him last year? I was under the perception that he did ok, but I barely watched any Sheffield Utd games and the number of people who are messaging me laughing about the signing would indicate he didn’t do as well as I thought
As I say I just thought he did alright and my perception of him was a promising young striker. My mates of course could be on the wind up, but just seems like there is a fair few saying the same thing. They also might know **** all about him and just assume he is **** because he was at Sheff Utd, but just wondering if anyone had actually seen a lot of him. The fact that Villa fans rate him is a positive, and I’m optimistic about the signing as he fits the “should we go down would do well in the Championship” model that I think we should be following this summer
I gather from what others have said that Sheff U created nothing for him, and he didn't fit their style.
