They also replaced Tufan with Mehlem who looks a tidy player. He’s only just finding his feet, but if he keeps progressing I feel we’ll have a player who may not reach the heights of Tufan’s brilliance but someone who will deliver more consistently.
How can you be certain they were registered yesterday? Nothing official & none of us work for the FA / EFL
Baz reported that all three were registered and trained yesterday and would be involved in the squad tomorrow. Now I haven't seen their registrations myself so I can't be 100% certain, but for him to be that matter of fact about it doesn't leave me in too much doubt.
In fairness neither Burstow or Zambrano excite me I honestly don't think either add much. It's nice to add more but, we need a striker that can find the net and an experienced midfielder. They maybe for the future but, I can just see them like another Fleming. Loaned out and forgotten about. Screenshot this for when they hopefully prove me wrong and become world beaters.
https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spo...s/contract-details-revealed-hull-city-9486721 He does qualify with 'understood to have' in fairness which I didn't think was in there originally, but it still seems rather definite.
At the bottom of this articles he says they are done and to be announced before Plymouth. I also feel I have read elsewhere from Baz that they were done in time to be included in the squad.
Probably even if they do not play it will be time spent with the rest of the Team like bonding i think.
From Baz in Dull Daily Elsewhere, City's side largely picks itself for the time being. New signings Charlie Hughes, Oscar Zambrano and Mason Burstow are set to be available but are unlikely to be considered for the starting XI so soon. They will be pushing this time next week when Millwall visit the MKM Stadium. City's predicted starting XI: Racioppi, Giles, McLoughlin, Jones, Coyle (c), Slater, Simons, Millar, Omur, Mehlem, Estupinan.
I’d be surprised if Pandur doesn’t start. I didn’t think Racioppi was terrible aside from the mistake but Pandur was solid against Bristol City.
I'd love for you to talk us through your knowledge of Ecuadorean football that led you to the conclusion Zambrano won't add much. I've never seen him play so all I can go on is the previous interest from PL teams, but if you've seen a few of his games then I'll bow to your greater knowledge.
