Well all the ones with experience have already screwed us over enough times, so I'm ok with us getting a new guy who hasn't had the chance yet.
So long as the result isn’t the same as the last time we played you in the Premier league I’ll be happy!
Shame my son goes back to University that day so I have to move him in. I've tried encouraging him to drop out, but he refused. First game of the season and I won't be able to watch it live as I have to help move him in 300 miles away. My wife will probably grumble if I watch it the day after too because it's our anniversary. May have to separate.
Kickoff will be 7:30 - takes a little under 3 hours to get to his University. Our designated move in time is 12pm (busy narrow city streets with extremely limited parking so they give you a slot to move in). So we have to leave by 9, but probably leave around 8 just in case there are delays- we've had a lot of rain damage here inland from the remnants of the hurricane from all the flooding, roads washed away, etc... the coast, where we're going got 10inches more rain than us last week... so as many detours I'm having to make to get anywhere around here- I'm expecting twice as many detours to get around destroyed roads down there.
So take in the first half. The game will be over by you leave when Ipswich score 3. Your son can drive the first hour and you.csn use phone to watch
He can't drive... although my daughter is taking her test tomorrow and is going with us (she loves going to the coast). I'm the only one that can drive my car in the family though (manual... wife and daughter being American don't care to learn how to drive real cars). Wife is going in her car too- taking both cars.
With all the tech on cars these days, could let the car steer itself, it does a good job staying between the lines. Interstate most of the way... so can stay in 6th gear the whole time. Have cruise control too. Just have to get my daughter/son (whichever ends up in my car) to yell "brake!" whenever we're about to hit someone (I don't have automatic braking).
I am already! We’ve just signed Kalvin Phillips! I hope he likes our treatment room coz that’s where he’ll be spending most of his time this season
Get the mrs to move him in, kill two birds with one stone. I mean, what's the point of her otherwise?
So do we start with McAllister in the DM then? This is the big question to me, the rest of the team I'm confident of the best players in each position with some good competition all over but we either play Bajetic and see if he can pick up where he left off before injury or play McAllister there which hurts us further forward but we do have options.
Mac will always be one of the 2 6’s. It’s szobo and Elliott fighting for the 10 spot. I think the question is does Gravenberch or endo start alongside him that’s all.
There's a suggestion that Slot prefers Gravenberch. I can't see Bajcetic playing. Either way it seems like it'll be another season of adjusting our tactics to cover the lack of a specialist ball playing number 6 this season.
