We got promoted and I lost all enthusiasm

 

Never too early to panic and worry. I started the day after we won at Wembley.

 

I know what you mean. I bought tickets for the Ipswich game yesterday though, safe standing. Quite looking forward to that.

There's no way he is leaving Aribo out. That midfield is lightweight as it is, let alone without taking the only physical presence out of it. He's had a good preseason too

Some right weird ****s out there and seems to miss that we had nothing to do with it and actually condemned it iirc.

 

Clearly ****ting himself, as losing to us at home would be hideously embarrassing (and won’t happen).

 

What an absolute bitter prick ….not so long ago Newcastle played the covid card so they could get players back from injury for our delayed fixture.
Horrible dirty club.

 

Also the transfer window opened and they got a few better players in than what they had at the time due to their takeover.

 

It really would be horrifically bad if they lost this

I know people think I'm joking but I honestly feel like this has got 5+ written all over it. They're a really good pressing side and are better than us in every position. Gonna be one of those 'welcome to the premier league' moments.

Not even sure why I'm going come to think of it tbh.

 

For some reason Roy Keane and Ian Wright think we'll win this.

I don't think we'll get anything here but I don't think we'll get utterly dicked either. Teams take some time to get up to speed so don't think Newcastle will be at their best but will still win comfortably. 3-1.

 

They won 5-1 on the opening day last season though. Against a team who ended up 4th best in the country no less.

Loving your optimism that we'll score a goal though! Will take that.
