Wow, you know how good he thinks he is? Can you enlighten us as to what the rest of the team think of their own abilities?
I don’t know what they expect. Can they be turning down offers above 30 million for players whilst playing at this level?
I think their issue is that it's a relegation release clause in his contract that's been there for over a year now and they haven't tried to sort a new deal to remove it. Summerville, Gray and Rutter going in one summer is massive mind. They could definitely replace them though
Aye, that’s fair enough I think it’s ridiculous that they didn’t go up last season tbh. Serious amount of talent in that squad. A little surprised Farke didn’t get sacked.
Struts about like he’s the best player on the pitch, when he’s far from it. Doesn’t put the work in. Lazy, weak, a waste of a shirt most of the time. Wouldn’t be missed.
Think he's another victim of the messy coaching we've had since TM left. A good coach, stability in what he's being asked to do will work wonders for him.
Can't believe no one else has come in for him, especially after his performance at the Euros in the summer
Certainly will be games where that is true. I believe though they will have a good amount of possession in most games where their ability to play quickly will be their main asset. I dont see them becoming a team that sits in and counter attacks, that doesnt suit McKenna at all, nor a lot of his squad. The danger for me is they play Phillips and he cant do the things they want in possession and they reduce their threat. Just an opinion. Nothing against Phillips, just think he would be a better fit in a different side. Everton for example. Time will tell mate.
