But a defiant Kean said: "We all want the same thing — to win games.

"We all have to put this behind us and be united."

Kean opted to leave out several star names, including talismanic defender Christopher Samba, so they will be fresh for Saturday's crucial Premier League clash with Swansea at Ewood Park.

He was taunted by Rovers fans chanting 'You're getting sacked in the morning'.

Kean said: "We forfeited our chance in this competition to get to a cup final — and now we must treat Swansea City like a cup final on Saturday.

"That game really has to kick-start our season. It's massive for us.

"With the magnitude of that game, I made changes and decided to leave Chris Samba, Martin Olsson and Michel Salgado at home."

---
So what do you make of his decision...

I think it's a drowning man clutching at straws lol, before the game Samba and Salgado were being reported as injured, they were beaten fair and square and he's just trying to keep his job. Hope you guy's put him to the sword this weekend.

we'll he would say that wouldnt he, thats all there is to say on that really.

easiest thing for a manager to do is put out a second string and say you dont care about the competition but hey, if he doesnt want to play in europe next season and play in a semi final we're happy to take their place <ok>

He rested his 1st choice keeper as did we. He has players with knocks who he rested.

They were outclassed yesterday. Worst team at our ground this season. They are going down and will struggle in next seasons Championship.

The players he rested are hardly top class. We would have beaten them whoever theyd picked. They are a total shambles and their fans all know it thats why they joined in the sacked in the morning chants after 20 minutes.

As long as Swansea dont over pass the ball they will hammer them. If they do overpass it then they ll still win.

I thought Wolves were bad. Blackburn are worse.

Well my 18 year old is going up for this game on Saturday, with 12 other mates, I've told him to behave and not tear the place up (First game away without his dad), can't see anything but a Swansea win, but I have watched a few of Blackburn's matches, especially their 3-3 drawn with Wigan, and they don't play too badly in my view, I think we could well be in for a tough game on Saturday, hope Caulker is now fit, and we could do with Agustien back too for this one, going for a 2-1 win for the Swans!................

Good win by the Bluebirds last night, another good cup run, no imploding in the League though this time you tarts!...................<laugh>

i actually think blackburn will survive this season, call me stupid but they are not getting hammered every week, and they do have the quality to get out of trouble, a solid defence, yakubu up front, rochina is class, pederson, dunn, hoillett and so on.

if you compare their squad with other relegation candidates, theirs is by far and away the best of a bad bunch <ok>

Seven points after 13 games is Blackburn’s worst ever start to a Premier League season.

No team with seven points or fewer after 13 games in the last 10 seasons has gone on to avoid the drop. The last team to do so were Derby County in 2000-01.

i did see he rested a number of players against cardiff and its obvious why, the premiership must come first with everything else as secondary....Blackburn will throw every thing at us now so we must be on our guard. my team against them is an attacking formation and would be....

...........................................Vorm -
-Caulker...............richards...................Monk.............tailor.........

-dyer..................Britton......................Allen...............Routledge......

I have read these forums for quite some time only ever commented once but have to say Dai are you real? or just a moron?

Richards at centre back? Caulker who has been injured for weeks and weeks at right back? no Ashely Williams?

I am assuming you mean Neil Taylor and not a suit TAILOR?? but then again possibly not reading the rubbish you spout out regularly!!

Why not play Tremmel upfront while your at it Dai ! Proved yet again as always you have not got a clue !!

I don't usually log in and comment but Dai you annoy me !!

This may be the game to try and alter the so called ist 11, some enforced I know but dropping Ash instead of Monk may be a mistake.

bony...grow up son and stop being childish, if you think we are ok as we are then thats fine by me, i happen to think we are to weak and not going forward enough to even think about scoring goals.......pretty entertaining football it is even if we are going backwards for most of the game and that my friend is a huge problem.....

It's called humour Dai

HA HA quite funny it may be about opinions dull dai it is just a crying shame your opinions are'nt worth a w**k!!

Do you genuinely believe we will experiment with the team in such an important match? These are the games we must take 3 points from and play our strongest team? not players out of position and playing around with things!!

Nothing against you personally Dull Dai but well actually you are just an idiot who thinks his "OPINION" is worth the world when in reality its regularly a load of garbage. Keep on dreaming if you really believe that line up would be the best one to go with if you really believe that you know very very little as proved by many a person on these boards !! good evening to you ;)
