Match Preview;
After our first league game, which I was at, it was a relief to get a win in the cup, but as was said on the West Brom thread, the players already looked tired and the performance was lacking any cutting edge. Celer looked secluded upfront and we made crucial mistakes at the back. I fear unless something changes, could be more of the same on Saturday.

Sheffield United kicked off the Championship season a day earlier than us, with a 0-2 win away at Preston on Friday night. After relegation last season, their squad looks decent, but lacking in fire power after the departures of Cameron Archer (Villa), William Osula (Newcastle) and Bénie Traoré (FC Basel).

Team news and manager comments to be added later, enjoy if you are making the trip, and as always...

...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

Early start for the hordes from Brighton & Hove.

You have to be a seriously lazy bastard to need the bus from the station though. It’s a 15 minute walk.

Our record against them is actually better than I would have guessed. A win and it’s 20-20-20. It’s going to happen.

Cheers Dave.

The kind of game where Chair would make a massive difference - is he ever coming back?

A bone bruise. Apparently the club should know more today. Let’s hope the news is good otherwise he will be out for a significant period of time. Of all the players…
