Still don't think we have been too bad considering the lineup and opposition. This makeshift defence was always likely to struggle and we are still unlucky to be behind with the deflected goal. Right through the whole setup we are crying out for a number 9. Releasing someone like Gardiner was ridiculous (although he's only just back from injury at the minute).
Canny solid. Ba 5.5 for me like. Players like Ba, Rusyn, Hjelde and AA should be standing out. Been our worst players alongside Anderson ( who we know is well below the standard)
Every time I saw Triantis playing with the u21s last season he looked like a senior player dropping down. He was playing in slippers most games. Add his performance in basically his one game for the first team being solid to good I have no idea why so many have been so down on him. He’s always looked perfectly decent to me. That video of him stotting that lad for Hibs has done him no favours at all tbh.
Mundle is the best of the front 3 but frankly he’s not doing enough to get me too excited either. A mitigation for him is he doesn’t have an overlapping left back so he’s being doubled up on.
Nah it wasn't. He is nowhere near championship standard. Be surprised if he plays league football ever.
Ekwah, Rigg and Mundle have been stand out for me, they're clearly players for the match day squad every week and should be starting some games. Johnson has looked solid too, hopefully he gets a loan to league one at the back end of the window once Ballard is closer to fitness.
