No reason why we can't get max points from next 4 games.

However, still can't help wondering if the 2011/2012 season review dvd will have the title: 'So Near Yet So Far - Again!'

    We have Leicester and Birmingham.
Care to elaborate on how on earth there is 'no reason' we can't?

No reason why can't. There is every chance we can.

Doesn't mean we definitely will he's just saying it's perfectly feasible. Neither of those sides are better that us.

You could say that for pretty much anyone though really, I know it's not suggesting we definitely will, but the phrase 'no reason we can't' always suggests to me that it's very likely.
I think Birmingham have been very underrated this season, they've been in the Europa League and have a couple of games in hand, which could easily fire them into the playoffs.

Exactly. Besides, apart from there being no Reason in results in this league, anyone who imagines there is any Reason in football at all has a fundamental misunderstanding of what it's all about!

What worries me is we are only 7 points above the relegation zone now. I think we'll be OK but still its a bit close.

Bl***y hell, you've lost 4 of the last 5 games! What makes you think you can get maximum points from the next 4 games?

At least Sunderland fans are realistic and honest - we are crap at the moment, if we get 6 or 7 points from the next 4 games I'll be over the moon !

Come on Tigers fans, get in to the real world !

**** off, you're opinion never counts. Just because Sunderland have never and will never win 2 on the trot, doesn;t mean no one else can <ok>

I think he based it on us having one of the best squads in the league and the fact that we play some of the best football out of any team. In those 4 games we've lost we completely outplayed the opposition in 3 of them (including West Ham who's team is probably better than yours) and were very unlucky at Southampton. We've also had half our team out injured over that period.

    Now bugger off.

    City 0 Leicester 3
    City 1 Birmingham 2
    Coventry 1 City 1
    City 2 Millwall 1

7 points in 7 Games mid table mediocrity awaits

Best not, I'd have to run away if Leicester beat us 3-0, I couldn't face it.

I remember a similar thread a few weeks ago. I think everyone was counting with 3 points against Burnley...

Good to see you have got rid of your problem, Black Cat! Thanks for reminding these fools why teams have to be seen as they are now. It's a daft statement that is full of crap and misses the fact that we are vulnerable, even when we take the lead. Leicester will be set up to attack the weaknesses NP left in 'his' squad and Birmingham will be hungry for a win. I like ambition but max points issimply daft!

See you next season - one way or the other! :emoticon-0125-mmm:

Leicester unbeaten since Pearson started work there. Better players? Management team? Prospects etc etc etc

City lost 4 out of 5, dodgy defence, lack of goals and **** at home? plenty of opportunity for a major shock!

If not, well that was expected lets move on

    City 0-0 Leicester
    City 1-0 Birmingham

City 3-1 - only because Jay Simpson will not be able to play!
