I think Miggy gets a lot of love, he's a limited player but always tries his best. This was the case from day one and he's acknowledged it, he didn't exactly have a strong start with us in terms of goals and assists but we kept on cheering him because it was clear he was running and working. As for Trippier and Wilson it's only because of their age. If they were both 10 years younger we'd be keeping them rather than looking to upgrade.
He is actually a useful player in the squad. Unfortunately tackling and pressing isn't appreciated. If he had end better end product and didn't defend that's not great either... it's not easy to find both with what's available I suspect. Murphy is probably closer to it at the moment though and it's a good time to sell Almiron.
Actually, I meant as in the fact they haven't identified RW as undisputed/Absolute necessity to upgrade, you bawbag
This Madueke is dogshit of a player and has attitude problems. Nico Gonzalez would've been some signing.
According to everything we've all read and heard, we had to sell two to clear pre-existing FFP debt/overspend (think of it as selling Minteh to retrospectively fund the signing of Harvey Barnes ... Mostly). Then approx £70m spending, from a few years ago, drops off and we're about to spend pretty much all of that on Guehi (if successful in that pursuit). Our steadily increasing sponsorship revenues should go some way towards being able to sign another, but some of it will already be eaten up by increased wages etc. and who really knows exactly what that leaves us to spend, or how much room in the wage budget?
He's good, an improvement on how Almiron is now anyway. In terms of attitude, all I saw was him having a hissy fit about not being able to take a penalty tbh.
So similar to Gordon during his first half season here then? Kicking off for being subbed. Isn't the adored and loved Keegan well known for being petulant and throwing his toys out the pram too?
If Madueke was a player that impressed me I would perhaps overlook it. Keegan was just riding a wave of money.... they all do to a degree and sometimes it works and other times it doesn't.
It's just one isolated incident, doesn't dictate that he'll be constantly like that. That one incident doesn't mean he has Barton, Suarez, Ronaldo etc type attitude.
Really? Skim read a few Chelsea fan forums transfer rumour threads and most are saying he's a good player and that it would be a shame to sell him. Some are saying if he carries on improving so rapidly, he'll be a world beater... Haven't seen one recent comment saying 'good, get rid' or anything similarly negative.
