Match Day Thread Championship games 9-11/08

Since it’s the League Cup, I wouldn’t be surprised or particularly fussed if we put out a weaker team against Sheffield Wednesday. Give the likes of Racioppi, Burns, Smith, Fleming, Vaughan etc. some minutes and see if they impress.

Plymouth look awful and we should beat them next Saturday. I know there are no easy games in the Championship but we’ve got a much better squad even in its current state.

 

We should have beaten them last game of the season with a better team than we have currently but didn’t

 

Plymouth weren’t as bad as this though in any of the games running up to that. They’d beaten Leicester at home as well.

Have Weds improved THAT much, or have Plymouth under the ever reliably awful management of Rooney just dropped off a cliff? Know it's been a few months but given the pasting they gave us last time out that's a shock......

 

Yes but 30 ****ing shots to 5? We’d be playing up hell if that had been yesterday (rightly so)

 

On the contrary, Plymouth will be up for playing us.....They're one of five clubs I've said will be in the bottom five come the business end...Alas, we're one of them...

I agree. We should be beating them next weekend and we should’ve beat them last season.

 

Bit of both. Wednesday kept a majority of their squad and added some nice pieces. Plymouth in a bit of a transition with a new manager and their star player's head is already at another club. Plus Plymouth's squad is largely league 1 quality

No he thinks we'll be bottom!!!!!... you have to question some peoples support..

 

If no quality incomings , then yes its a possibility....However, there could be quite a few clubs vying for a bottom 5 spot....Off the top of my head:...Blackburn when they lose Szmodics, Oxford, QPR, Preston, Plymouth, Swansea, us.

 

I dont think blackburn will get playoffs

There you go again questioning my support.....My support is solid as a rock...Just that at this moment in time, we ain't got the conkers to be up there, or even avoid a relegation scrap, but that doesn't mean to say it will stay that way...PS..Not sure why I have to explain myself to you....Bet if I look back I'll find a few negatives you've posted.

 

We all post negatives when they are justified.... but yours are just incessant.. have a bit more faith ..!!
