Pretty sure there was more Sheff Wed players in the box there than Plymouth players. What on earth were they thinking appointing Rooney.
I know Plymouth were awful but I’m a tad concerned about next Sunday. I’ve made no secret of the fact I think we didn’t play too well yesterday (despite the excellent result), and combine this with a confident Wednesday side who look good and have a long throw expert that always seems to be our Achilles heel and it seems a perfect storm.
Sheff Wed stuffed us not so long ago and they’ve strengthened well. People will say last season doesn’t matter but it really will be a tough game. Would take a draw - would be a decent start.
Have they? Lowe will not get out of double figures. Bannan was less than impressed by his team mates. Plymouth were rubbish.
Rooney is meant to be good at the management amd leadership stuff. At Derby he did well, but that looks now to have been all about Rosenior. Early days.
Yep I’d have taken a draw yesterday so 4 points from opening 6 is a great start for me. 6 from 6 would be fantastic obvs
