Pompey score a 91st minute pen at Elland Road to go 3-2 up. Not a bad start to life back in the Champ for them.

Sheffield Wednesday have warned their own fans that anyone found wearing counterfeit shirts will be removed from the stadium. I reckon this could open up a can of worms if other clubs follow suit. So long as it's not offensive or inappropriate, you should be able to wear whatever you want in a stadium, or anywhere.

Fans are struggling to pay for tickets as it is and shirt prices are rocketting. Wednesday, a team in the Championship, are charging £69 for an adult shirt and £53 for a junior. We charge between £85-£125 on our adult shirts depending on if you want the "stadium" or the "elite" version. Go on DHGate and you can buy a very, very good replica of any club for around £13-£15.

If clubs stopped ripping fans off, more would be able to "support" them financially with more moderate pricing.

It's called capitalism! You charge the price that maximises your profit and if people can't afford it then tough.

But copyright is an important thing...if everyone is allowed to copy stuff without sanctions then whole industries like music, fashion and art will collapse because creative people won't get paid for their work. Better to boycott the official shirts if they are overpriced but not buy cheap replicas either

    (Spurs 3rd kit watch 2023-24 - was 20% reduced < just saying > ) .

There is always the wild west of eBay. I have got quite a few bargains over the years from there if you're prepared to take the risk.....

I remember cleaning up during the 2006 World Cup, as apparently people working in the Adidas sweatshop in Thailand were swiping a few shorts on the way home at the end of a shift and putting those on eBay

It helps enormously when your stadium was sponsored by the taxpayer.

Does it help at all when you have a stadium that was designed for renting out for concerts and NFL games?

Of course. But Spurs paid for that stadium.

    You paid for West Ham's.

    Sorry.

As a United fan, I assumed you live in London.

It was designed for football of that there is no doubt - the fact that its design allows for those other events to be held and generate an additional income for the club can surely not be considered a bad thing.

Never said it was a bad thing, i asked if it helped at all
I know Citys stadium holds a lot of music events because i live around 2 miles away and hear them quite well in summer (not sure who gets the money from that since Mancester council own it).
Serious question because i honestly have no idea and have heard nothing about them (even on here), how many NFL games have you hosted so far?

The north London ground has held seven games so far, with an eighth coming on Sunday 15 October, and Spurs have recently confirmed a deal to make the venue the 'home of the NFL in the UK' until 2030
