Got a parking ticket yesterday £60 robbing bastards. I'd bought a ticket for 8 hours £6. When I got back to the van there was a yellow parking ticket on it and I saw that my ticket had flipped over, probably when I closed the van door. I've appealed it, but I know what these mofo's will say. Not displayed correctly and they'll just dig their heels in despite the fact that I've sent them a pic of my valid ticket. ****s.
Is it council or private… if a council one, just keep contesting. Write letters. Take a pic of both sides of ticket as they have stuff printed both sides.
Private. Armtrac control it and I've dealt with these ****s before They are a bunch of cowboys, and there's no way they will support my appeal. I'll appeal it again to the next level, but they have got me on a technicality. Even though I bought a ticket and can prove that I had a valid ticket. They will say that because it wasn't displayed properly, it's a contravention of their parking rules. It's all kinds of levels of wrong, but this is how these shysters operate

Keep sending letters/making appeals. Will come a point that they spend more in admin on chasing you. You still have to pay probably. But don’t make it easy on the ****s.

The trouble with these ****s though is they will just refer it on to a debt collection agency. You could contest it all the way and take it to court, but tbh I wouldn't do it in this case, even though I bought a ticket. Because their sign says you must display your ticket properly and you agree to park here under these rules. It's **** and it contravenes the rules of cricket, but that's how they operate.
Missus had that before - ticket had blown off dash and on to floor of car whilst she was at the swimming pool when the youngest was learning - ****ers wouldn't listen - she was fuming, but **** all you can do...
Yeah it's wrong, but these private operators will just bat any appeal off whatever the circumstances. I had a run in with this lot before in a different car park, where they tried to sting me on their ANPR camera for being in there for 4 hours without a ticket, when I'd simply gone in, then out again and parked in a different car park. I even had the ticket for the other car park and they refused the appeal lol. That one got chucked out when I appealed it higher, but it shows you the mentality of these private car park enforcement ****s.
Keep pushing it upto the point of debt collection. Keep phoning and just when they say it will go to debt collection, pay the original fine. Don’t make it easy for these ****s.
Somebody is properly taking the piss this morning Missus just had a letter from DHL charging her £70 for 'storage' for a package that they wanted to add a customs charge to, because it came from the US She is a designer and did some work for a fabric company out there, they sent her a pack of samples of her work on their fabric and stated that it has $0 value on the package. DHL wouldn't have it and tried to say that it must have some value as it was a large package, it was explained to them that it was samples sent to the designer and had no value. So they eventually released the package from customs. It took them a week to do it. And now they are trying to charge her £70 for storage ****ing cheeky ****tard ****er mofo **** faced little **** ****s **** like this makes my piss boil !
I got a ticket a few years ago, private not council. Paid for ticket but machine didn’t print it. £60 it was the last day of Ramadan and I’d taken my kids for some Eid shopping. wrote them an E mail. cant recall the exact words but I said something along the lines of ‘It’s day 30 of Ramadan, if you know what that is…you can check that officially. We are taught to curb our vices, work on our weaknesses and give more than usual to charity. Do you think I care about avoiding a £1 parking ticket after a month of that? I was also out shopping spending £100’s that day, do you think I care for your £1 parking ticket? Then I said, I feel insulted and embarrassed that you think I would do that. I can also prove to you that I’m a Muslim. Can you prove to me that your machine was working that day? until then I will not be paying. got a simple E mail back saying they will not be pursuing the matter further and consider the case closed i replied Eid Mubarak set a ****Z
We get ****ing fleeced down here. Coz it's touristy innit. Paid £6 yesterday and the ****in mofos still slapped me with a £60 fine.
